Believe it or not, we’re not done with COVID festival cancelations – even in the US. Back in June, SLANDER announced its own music festival called Starbase. It was scheduled for October 8-9 in South Carolina. However, the festival just announced its cancelation today.

With a tweet, the festival went out as quick as it started. It doesn’t appear that the cancelation was mandated by anybody, but the festival is being canceled out of concern for rising cases in the South Carolina area. Additionally, no future date has been set and tickets will all be refunded automatically. We have no idea when we will see Starbase Music Festival, but SLANDER assures us we will see it return in some form.
