Getting us in touch with his roots from India Bhangra dancers from the dance collective known as Movement Of Desis joined Troyboi on stage to help debut the release and a fresh direction of sound that will be on full display throughout the EP.

Allow this collection be a gateway into experiencing or simply understanding a cultural tradition, Bhangra dancing, and the energy at its foundation. Bhangra dancing is a joyful folk tradition from Punjab, born out of the harvest fields—where farmers once celebrated abundance with rhythm, movement, and communal spirit. It’s all heart and hustle, a dance that connects the body to the land.
Vaisakhi, the festival where Bhangra originated, marks both the harvest season and a spiritual new year—a time to honor the earth’s gifts and reflect on what we’re sowing in our own lives. For Sikhs, it’s also the sacred day when Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa, defining a path of courage, truth, and identity.
So when TroyBoi brought out Bhangra dancers in a surprise performance, you better believe there was some spiritual feelings on the dance floor and today we encourage you ask yourself, “What the F’ am I harvesting?”
Well, anyway, TroyBoi is on a tear per usual and the next place you can catch his show will be at Shambhala at the end of July, so there be ready with some sprouts on the dance floor.
