Fresh off a massive Boiler Room set in Dallas, TX and a slew of singles from his forthcoming project, rising producer and visionary Left/Right marks a new chapter with new album Big Rave Energy via his CONDUIT imprint.

Originally hailing from Texas and now based in LA, Left/Right first developed his musical prowess at a young age playing the cello, piano and singing after discovering electronic music and rave culture, instilling a highly artistic approach through his duelling musical influences.

Connecting the music industry and the metaverse, his creative brand and label CONDUIT combines interactive storylines with installation art and music, leading to a collaboration and live set with Boiler Room, whilst his next CONDUIT series will explore the human and AI experience in art and philosophy later this year.

The multi-talented producer, teacher, visual artist and performer channels degrees in both music composition and audio engineering into a broad spectrum of sounds, particularly inspired by the fresh and nuanced sounds of Overmono, Tibasko and Jasper Tygner but also the unapologetic and fierce bass of Caracal Project, My Nu Leng and Client_03.

Elsewhere, he’s seen growing support from BBC Radio 1 and has scored ads with Nike, UFC, EA Sports, and Urban Decay as in demand composer. Regular international bookings across the likes of Glastonbury, Beyond Wonderland, Shambhala, Burning Man, SXSW, and London’s Fabric have gathered global acclaim for the producer, who doubles as a dedicated educator who has taught both college and private mentoring including at ICON Collective in LA.

Left/Right now presents a multi-genre kaleidoscope album 2 years in the making, representing a new direction for the artist inspired by the fresh and nuanced side of genres like electro, breaks, and D&B. While tracks like Big Rave Energy pair a playful head full of sound with ear-shattering bass to rattle the dancefloor, Deeper with E.R.N.E.S.T.O combines seductive head-nodding beats with airtight kicks and Windows with Reginald samples a playful yet captivating Windows laptop firing up theme tune with a ready-to-go energy to match.

Meanwhile, Forget About It (feat. Denitia) with Nick Van House invigorates the album’s tone with a lighter summer flow then dives back into the underground with Put Down The Gun with Dread MC, a powerful comment on the glorification of gun violence decked out with bottom heavy bass to melt your eardrum. Elsewhere, Deluge is a menacing and futuristic juggernaut, and Never Slow Down, marks an impeccable piece of dancefloor madness to shake your bones. 

Need U with Isenberg is a melting pot of fast-paced snare and frenetic movement, whilst The Way features melodic and infectious breakdowns with addictive repetitive vocal chops. Waiting (feat. Denitia) draws on sultry  pop-influenced vocals whilst wrapping up the LP Guide marks a glorious and cinematic conclusion to the album with glistening synths and technical breakdowns. 

Both a diverse display of talents from a multi-skilled musician and a cohesive unit of purely excellent music, Big Rave Energy demonstrates Left/Right’s impressive and refreshing production skills rooted in the underground as a true tastemaker and versatile talent on the scene.
