Blending timeless Middle Eastern melodies with a punched-up contemporary groove, the track’s massive sound transcends generations and is a new afro house essential.

From our eye Anrey captivates listeners with his musical intuition and authenticity as an artist. Anrey’s compositions effortlessly blend organic elements from Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East with heavy-hitting percussion, distinctive grooves, emotive melodies, and rich arpeggiated synthesizers—perfect for when moon and sun cohabit high in the sky.

Anrey
Hakim is a leading figure in Egypt’s modern sha’bi scene and the first of his generation to gain international recognition. Born in 1962, he started performing young and formed a band at 14, blending traditional sha’bi with modern instruments. His breakthrough came with Al Nazra, fusing sha’bi with synthesizers and Western beats. By the late ’90s, Hakim had sold millions of records. Hakim Remix (1998) expanded his reach abroad, followed by Yaho (2000), which became a major hit leading to U.S. releases and tours.
