After getting his 2021 releases, “Count You In,” signed to Spinnin’ Records and “Feelings After Dark,” signed to Musical Freedom, HARBER has reached an all-time high that seems to only be going higher. Both songs feature an uplifting groove that’s infectious and catchy, showcasing euphoric vocals that have a club friendly feel. HARBER embodies what being successful in electronic music is all about: hard-work, sticking with it, honing in your sound – and the like.

Now, HARBER is reaping what he has sewn, achieving some serious milestones for all the right reasons. On top of growing online presence and big label releases, Electric Zoo invited HARBER out to the 2021 festival to play the main stage – an event that popped off seamlessly.

Well-rounded attention continues to surround HARBER for all the right reasons, with that we reached out to HARBER for an interview, talking about festival performances, the idea behind his sound, future plans, and more.

How would you describe your sound?

I would say my sound is “dance-pop” with a bit of an edge to it. I always gravitated towards dance music, but I don’t really like to classify my music as one specific sub-genre because I’m really just into making music I love.

How did it feel playing Electric Zoo in 2021?

It was absolutely incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun! The whole experience felt almost like a dream, especially since it’s my hometown festival. First of many main stages I hope

Do you have any rituals you do to prepare for a set?

Actually, I stretch… a lot.

How did the opportunity to get signed to Musical Freedom and Spinnin’ Records come about?

I had my demo “Feelings After Dark” with NISHA and my manager sent it to Spinnin’ and they loved it. It was originally going to be released on Spinnin’, however, once Tiësto heard it and loved it, they wanted to co-release on Musical Freedom. It was then sent to the legend Michael Calfan to jump on as a collab, which was great because I’ve always been a big fan of his!
What is the message you hope is taken away in your Spinnin’ Records signed single ‘Count You In?’

“Count You In” is a song about not being sure that you’re ever gonna find the “right person” but you’re still not afraid to try.

What upcoming shows do you have coming down the pipeline?

I’m playing as direct support for MORTEN at Harbor New York, with a bunch of shows coming up in the fall and winter, including a big official pre-show for the Grand Prix in Mexico City, which you’re getting first… exclusive! Haha
