Another year has come and gone and that means the New Year festivities that come with it. Decadence Arizona has become a staple event for west coast ravers and the event has not failed to go all out in ringing the New Year. This year’s edition was no different and we had the whole thing covered. 

The two day NYE event went all out in 2024 with its production and lineup. Featuring the likes of John Summit, Illenium, Slander, Steve Aoki, and more, we all knew the vibes would be high and the music would be good. Things kicked into gear right away on day one with Said the Sky bringing the feels on the main stage Grand Palace while Shiba San b2b Cid brought funky house vibes to the Royal Ballroom. After that the next few hours was a dance party with Oliver Heldens going into Steve Aoki into John Summit. Each threw down sets appropriate for the occasion and was a straight dance party. Ending the night was Subtronics at the Grand Palace throwing down like you would expect him too and Claptone playing a bassy house set that had the whole stage getting down. 

On NYE, the party was turned up a notch with Chris Lake kicking things off at the Grand Palace early in the night to really set the tone for the night. BTSM took over the stage after that while Green Velvet played a mesmerizing set over at the Royal Ballroom. After that the bass got flipped to another level with Slander bringing us into the 2024 with a heavy set and then Illenium mixing in an emotional set mixed with headbanging. Finally Loud Luxury threw down an eclectic set to end the night, making everyone wish that the night wouldn’t soon be over. They played as if the night was still young but unfortunately after that it was time to head home.

Outside of the music, there was plenty for ravers to do such as check out the Playground and Bazaar with a multitude of activities to partake in as well as a two-channel silent disco where you could check out your favorite local acts.

Overall, Decadence brought the heat to the cold Arizona night during this New Year’s Eve. The production was stellar as always and the amenities were top-notch. It was another successful festival and you can bet that we will be back again to ring in 2025.
