Hailing from the flatlands of Southern Holland, Daniel Wanrooy has spent the past decade earning support from industry giants like Tiësto, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Ferry Corsten, and Markus Schulz. Daniel’s career took off in the early 2000s when Tiësto discovered his talent, mentoring him and bringing him on a global tour. Throughout the years, the superstar DJ included five of Daniel’s tracks in his hugely successful In Search of Sunrise series. Daniel’s debut album, Different Day, Different Light, earned praise from MTV, while his follow-up, Slice of Life, gained acclaim with the hit single “Stay In The Moment,” featuring American Idol finalist Blake Lewis.

Daniel’s Slice of Life world tour included high-profile performances, such as a live appearance on Malaysia’s “Hello on 2” for 5 million viewers. He worked with top artists remixing tracks for the likes of Tiësto, Deadmau5, Armin van Buuren, The Crystal Method, W&W, Sander Kleinenberg, and many others and releasing music on labels like Spinnin’ Records, Armada and Black Hole Recordings. As a DJ, Daniel performed at iconic festivals and clubs around the world such as Trance Energy, Luminosity, Oslo Streetparade, Monday Bar Cruise – Sweden, Rising Festival Malaysia, and Ibiza clubs to name a few. He even toured Europe with Tiësto, playing for crowds of over 15,000 people, cementing his global influence in dance music.

Following the success of his debut release on Cosmic Gate’s Wake Your Mind label, “Turn Off The Lights” a few months ago, Daniel was inspired to create a follow-up track. Driven by the powerful drop that worked so well in his sets, he aimed to recreate that energy while adding a touch of goosebumps-inducing magic. “A Place Beyond” combines dark, driving melodic techno with a captivating, soulful trancy melody that flows effortlessly throughout. “When I came up with the melody I knew this was what I was looking for!” – shared Daniel.
