If there’s one month that electronic music eyes are most fixed on Ibiza, it’s August … and Cosmic Gate’s are no exception! Sending hot season’s mercury that much higher, Nic & Bossi have teamed up with the island’s Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza in Cala De Bou. Renowned for some of the most eye-catching backdrops La Isla Blanca has to offer, CG this week performed an emotionally stirring sundown set from the resort’s rooftop.

Music-wise, naturally it’s no ordinary livestream either, rather one that’s an-hour-and-a-half packed with upcoming CG releases, exclusive first-listens, new Wake Your Mind Records material and remix premieres aplenty!

Foremost amongst those is the new single ‘Trifecta’, itself a ‘trifecta’ between Nic, Bossi and distinguished Canadian producer Arnej. Their trio’s first reteaming since ‘Sometimes They Come Back For More’ a dozen years ago, the track’s a brooding, pulsing, propellant slice of tech, that’s all set to roll across late summer floors. That goes on release Aug 9, but you can put ears to ‘Trifecta’ this very minute, via the Amàre Beach Ibiza Livestream, link for which is here. And once that’s got you in the mood, there’s plenty more summer 2024 CG festival action to check, not least their performance at Parookaville, which can be found hereabouts!

Now, if all that wasn’t quite enough to satisfy your CG wants, with ‘Trifeca’ complete, work to compile the 5th edition of ‘Wake Your Mind Sessions’, their hallmark mixcomp series, began at pace. With prep now wrapped, physical and digital versions will find their ways to stores in early September (more details to follow!).
