While music festivals may have dominated the headlines this past Labor Day weekend, there was one that had social media buzzing throughout the weekend for all the right reasons and that was Chicago’s ARC Music Festival.

Considered a relatively fresh face to the summer circuit, the house and techno festival returned Union Park for its third edition where it would solidify itself as a true bucket list destination for an avid lover of electronic dance music.

With North Coast Music Festival taking place just about 45 minutes away the same weekend, the crowd at ARC was purely house and techno enthusiasts who we’re treated to three-day musical marathon featuring flawless weather forecast and a star-studded lineup of internationally renowned names.

Once again showcasing the sounds of a masterfully curated artist lineup, the soundtrack of the weekend featured Eric Prydz presents HOLO, John Summit, Fatboy Slim, Peggy Gou, Black Coffee, Boys Noize, Dombresky, Anfisa Letyago and many more!

Now what makes ARC Music Festival so special? Not only does it put a ton of effort into shining light on the rich cultural heritage of Chicago house music but there’s an intimate feel to the festival (while being located in the heart of Chicago) with the grounds not being overwhelmingly large making it easy for festival goers to bounce in-between stages to catch sets throughout the day. Plus, there was plenty of room to dance and navigate through the crowd which some may find hard to believe considering this was a sold-out event, there is no other way to describe ARC Music Festival other than a true piece of house and techno heaven.
