Top 5 Things To Check Out At Groove Cruise Orlando 2022!

With 2021 finally coming to a close, we now shift our sights to 2022. One party in our line-of-sight is that of Groove Cruise Orlando. Every year, the Groove Cruise embarks on what seems like a nonstop party with its crew & all aboard along for the ride. From the looks of things, 2022 is expected to be no different.

This year, attendees can expect performances from over 60 of dance music’s biggest names, including Gorgon City, John Summit, and even Claude VonStroke. If that wasn’t enough, legends like Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, & Jeffrey Sutorius (formerly known as Dash Berlin) are also expected to perform. Want more? You got it – Dirtybird, Odyzey, Day Life & more are also set to host stage takeovers.

Mind you, this all will be taking place over the course of four days as the cruise takes the international party to and from the Caribbean Sea. While there will be plenty of music & dancing to go around, that isn’t all there is to do. Dropping anchor in Labadee, the private paradise Royal Caribbean has owned for 20+ years, this destination will be completely exclusive to Groove Cruise Captains.

5 Things To Do At GC Orlando

1. The Obvious Choice: Dance!

Featuring 96-hours of non-stop dance music, the party literally does not stop. If that weren’t enough, the cruise will also feature “Open Decks”. This is where ‘captains’, as attendees are affectionately called, will be able to signup to spin in the ship’s casino. To add to that, the cruise will also feature a special shoreside takeover. This is where one of the headliners will drop a special set on the island-stage, live.

2. Get Your Costume Game Ready – Dress Up For Themed Parties

Over the course of the cruise, captains will get to partake in a whopping eight special costume-themed parties. Some of the parties will follow themes such as Area 69, Fire and Ice, 50 Shades of Disney, and more. You can check out the rest below.

3. Try Your Hand at Extreme Sports

While aboard ‘The Mariner of the Seas’, captains will be able to partake in incredible activities such as dual racer water slides, VR bungee trampolines, a surf simulator, laser tag, and even ice skating. If this weren’t enough, there are more activities planned on Labadee’s private paradise – but more on that later.

4. Treat Yourself to On-Board Dining

‘The Mariner of the Seas’ features a world-class dining experience with over 12 restaurants and bars. Some of the dining experiences offered include a high-end steakhouse, hibachi and sushi, Italian, a sports bar and arcade, Johnny Rockets, Starbucks, and more. In addition to this, if purchased, captains can enjoy an all-inclusive drink package. It will also feature a complimentary BBQ lunch on the sand.

All food and drink will be brought off the ship. This is to ensure a controlled and safe culinary experience on the island.

5. Last, But Definitely Not Least: Get Out and Explore

Apart from getting to explore the beautiful peninsula that is Labadee’s private paradise, captains can enjoy excursions like the world’s largest zipline over water. The island also features a roller coaster, parasailing, and even private cabanas.

If you’re feeling adventurous, the island is surrounded and secluded by a natural mountain range, which is open for exploring. It should be noted that Labadee is rated the third private destination in the world by the Cruise Line Community, with over 1 million cruise passengers visiting safely each year.

Groove captains will be able to partake in awe-inspiring activities like:
