Swedish House Mafia Announced as New MDLBEAST Act

MDLBEAST Soundstorm Festival just announced Swedish House Mafia as their surprise act for its 2022 edition. The trio will be taking with stage with an impressive number of heavyweight acts from the scene such David Guetta, DJ Snake, Steve Aoki, and Marshmello. The event will be taking place in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

In addition, the festival will bring are over 200 international and regional artists across eight stages at the three-day music festival. Other names include Afrojack, Claptone, R3HAB, and ARTBAT along with other pop stars who will also be performing. You check out the full lineup here.

Many fans however have shared their criticism of Swedish House Mafia and other artists playing at MDLBEAST in Saudi Arabia. On the same middle-eastern scenes, the Swedish trio recently performed at the F1 after-race show in Abu Dhabi.

MDLBEAST Soundstorm is an annual music festival taking place is Riyadh along with XP Music Futures. XP Music Futures is a behind-the-music conference with talks and night performances, and it runs from Monday November 28 to Wednesday November 30. Soundstorm directly follows the event and runs from Thursday December 1 to Saturday December 3. More about the festival here.
