Reinier Zonneveld and HI-LO are back with another track together titled ‘Samsara‘. The duo have released a multitude of tracks collaboratively already. Those include ‘Saw of Olympus’, ‘Balearic Mornings’, ‘Existencia’, and ‘String Theory’. With HI-LO’s techno alias and Reinier’s innovative techno sound, the pair have created a track to round out the year.

Firstly, ‘Samara’ is ethereal in melody. Its machine gun synths fire lasers across your mind and dancefloor. As you listen, you will lose your mind to the heavy drum beats. Secondly, those are a powerful signature for their tracks. The synth work is brilliant and it’s a great addition to Reinier’s Filth On Acid label. What’s more, Armin van Buuren actually played the track back on A State of Trance 1057 in February. It made its way through ASOT’s 10th Anniversary at Ultra Miami. Then Reinier played it at his Tomorrowland Weekend 3 set in Belgium. From there, HI-LO played it on his Drumcode Radio 635 feature. Since then, it’s seen the Time Warp Germany stage, Volcano stage at Seismic Dance Event, and Heldeep Radio 443.

A pretty well-respected number of support, we can surely see this track seeping into 2023 with a bang. Zonneveld’s vibrant sound is highly respected along with his improvisational live shows. He’s become a prominent resident in the techno scene, continuously pushing industry limits. He even launched his own festival, Live NOW. We look forward to what 2023 has in store for Zonneveld.

Oliver Heldens, aka HI-LO, is relentless in his deepest, darkest cuts. He hasn’t stopped and is now garnering much support and streams from the techno scene and beyond. He’s appearing on Drumcode and remixing the works of techno’s greatest. We will definitely be seeing more of this techno mainstay. Check out ‘Samsara’ below.
