The rave train is coming through Vancouver this weekend, March 22 at TradeX, with Alesso and Alok bringing us home. INSOMNIA 2025 is set to light up British Columbia with a star-studded lineup also featuring global icons KSHMR, Ben Nicky, and Cosmic Gate, alongside the explosive debut of the Basszone Stage with Rooler and Lil Texas to boot.

Within these artists on this historic night dancers will be treated to as taste of everything, as the lineup promises a welcoming mix of melodic house, trance, hardstyle, and bass, making it a must-attend event for all dance music lovers. It will be wild to see these artists in action, feeding off the crowd and working their magic from years of experience and an undoubtedly deep love for the rave culture.

Ahead of the night we have created a playlist to explore the lineup that we have come to love over the years and starting to get to know. Alesso is first with his ‘Somebody To Use’ that proves to resonates with all dance music fans, followed by a summer time set by Alok we cannot get enough of.

Then dive into trance mainstays Cosmic Gate starting with their latest release ‘I’m on fire’ and Ben Nicky‘s remix of Artemas’ ‘I Like the Way You Kiss Me’ with with Luke Bond, available for a free download (sorry not sorry).

Then in comes KSHMR with one of favorites by him and Tungevaag titled, ‘Close Your Eyes’, because of the classic rave energy and beautiful vocals the track showers.

Then it is either getting into Rooler’s 8-hour hardstyle set that we highly recommend or sampling one of his latest.  For now we went with his ‘Take Me Away’ with Sickmode and Paul Elstak that sounds exactly as its titled. To cap of this playlist that gives you the tip of the iceberg on INSOMNIA 2025 we bring Lil Texas‘ latest release, ‘Voodoo’, a continuation of his ability to stretch the possibility of sound.
