The Stafford Brothers Electrify the Globe with a Modern Big Room Release, ‘Weekend’

The multi-platinum Australian mainstays the Stafford Brothers release an electro select that has been hitting the dance floor right along their global tour, reasonably titled, ‘Weekend’, through Purple Fly records. Matt and Chris shared on the direction of the new release best,

“We always aim to create high-energy music that elevates the party atmosphere and energizes dance floors everywhere across the globe. Our new song captures this spirit, offering a dynamic yet thrilling listening experience. We were always a fan of the original “Weekend” and reimagined it with a contemporary twist; fusing together big room, hard dance, and electro. We’ve been loving the crowd reaction so far and are excited to keep playing it on the Weeeeeeekenddddd”

It is easy to see how the inspiration to rework Bad Habit Boys’ ‘Weekend’ exploded from the brothers as their weekends have been filled with performances at Tomorrowland, the half-time show during the National Rugby League Grand Final with Timmy Trumpet, spring breaks in Cancun and Bahamas, Tropicana in Mykonos, Far Out Beach Club in Greece, The Summer Club Pool in NYC and Ultra Music Festival, where they debuted their latin tech release for Spinnin’ Records, ‘Cascabel’.

In the midst of their world tour the Stafford Brother’s ties to latin house came to light with ‘BÉSAME MUCHO’, a collaboration with the revered Latin producer, G4BBA, and an indie-pop artist, Crash Yeye.

The Stafford Brothers continue to branch out after solidifying their reputation for providing proper dance music with an impressive roster of releases on major labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Thrive, Smash the House, and a sensational bass house remix of the classic rock band, Boston’s ‘Foreplay/Long Time’ titled, ‘Taking My Time’, via Armada.

The brother’s music journey started historically as they became the first ever electronic act signed to Cash Money Records with their groundbreaking debut single in 2013, ‘Hello’ featuring Lil Wayne and Christina Milian, a record that went on to achieve triple platinum status in Australia and earned a nomination for Song of the Year at the ARIA Music Awards.

The duo has performed at EDC Las Vegas, Inspection At Sea, Creamfields, Global Gathering and Sunburn Festival as well as taken over legendary clubs such as Pacha, DAER, and Hï Ibiza, shared the stage with Dubfire, The Prodigy, Erick Morillo and David Guetta, making waves with their dynamic sound and high-profile collaborations with a diverse range of artists including Lil Yachty, Jayceeoh, T.I., Waka Flocka Flame, Rick Ross, Rachel West and Deorro, among others. While singles such as ‘Knock,’ ‘Not At All,’ and ‘Keep Talking’ are streaming in the millions. Lets just see what they have in store for us next.
