A.C.E. or “Authentic Community Engagement” is something that the Tallahassee Network of Young Professionals (NYP) takes seriously. This organization believes that Tallahassee is the perfect place for young professionals to “live, work, play, and stay.”

Because of this ideology, the NYP has created a prestigious award aptly named the Golden A.C.E. Award to recognize the Capital City’s top “20 under 40.” This means the top 20 young professionals in their specified category all under 40 years of age.

This award honors emerging leaders in the community and encourages local professionals to work toward their goals, not only for themselves, but also for their colleagues and neighbors.

On April 27th, 2019, GloFX’s own CEO Dan Watkins was honored with the Golden A.C.E. Award in his category. Tallahassee Mayor John Dailey presented Dan with this accolade at the annual Golden A.C.E. Awards Ceremony and Gala.

This award is to symbolize all Dan has done for the community and to recognize his accomplishments.

“It was a proud moment to be recognized as a ‘Top 20 Under 40’ Young Professional,” Dan said regarding the award. “This is not just an accomplishment for me, but for the entire GloFX Team. I would not be where I am today without the excellent people and the solid foundation that has been created at GloFX.”

GloFX is looking forward to many more years with Dan as our fearless leader. Congratulations Dan!
