He is self-described as three-and-a-half years old, and almost always refers to himself in the third person.

2- Cookie Monster
Cookie Monster is a blue muppet monster and the protagonist of the Sesame Street franchise.
He’s a blue monster with googly eyes and loves to eat everything, especially cookies. At first, he was a wheel stealer, a green monster with sharp teeth who eats wheel snacks.
They did the same thing for the coffee break machine in an IBM show, until he was changed to good, blue fur, and had a craving for cookies.
Cookie Monster has a lust to eat every cookie he can get his hands on. He is often a bit selfish and refuses to share cookies, but he can be talked into sharing with his friends.

Big Bird is an 8’2″ yellow bird who lives on Sesame Street.

Big Bird lives in a large nest behind 123 Sesame Street and next to Oscar’s trash can, and he has a teddy bear named Radar.

4- Bert
Bert is Ernie’s best friend and roommate on Sesame Street. The pair share the basement apartment at 123 Sesame Street.
His passions include reading Boring Stories, collecting paper clips and bottle caps, eating oatmeal, and studying pigeons.
While Ernie’s best companion outside of Bert is Rubber Duckie, Bert has his pet pigeon, Bernice.

He loves to help people but is very bad at it. Grover appears in several recurring Sesame Street segments, including Waiter Grover; Super Grover; and Global Grover. He also frequently appears in Monsterpiece Theater and the Spanish Word of the Day segments.

6- Oscar The Grouch
Oscar the Grouch is a furry, green Grouch who lives in a trash can on Sesame Street.
He loves trash so much that he’s rarely seen outside of his trash can.
His trademark song, explaining his passion for refusing, is “I Love Trash.” Like all Grouches, Oscar’s mission in life is to be as miserable and grouchy as possible, and pass that feeling on to everyone else.
While Oscar has had many pets, his closest companion is his worm, Slimy.

7- Count Von Count
Count von Count is a mysterious but friendly vampire-like Muppet on Sesame Street who is meant to parody Bela Lugosi’s portrayal of Count Dracula.
He first appeared on the show in the Season 4 premiere in 1972, counting blocks in a sketch with Bert and Ernie.
The Count has a compulsive love of counting, he will count anything and everything, regardless of size, amount, or how much annoyance he causes others around him.
In one song, he stated that he sometimes even counts himself. When he finishes counting, The Count laughs and announces his total. How cool it is. One of the most popular Sesame Street characters.
8- Ernie
Ernie has been one of the stars of Sesame Street since its first episode in 1969.
He and his best friend Bert share the basement apartment at 123 Sesame Street.
Together they form a comic duo that is one of the program’s centerpieces, with Ernie acting the role of the naïve trouble-maker and Bert the world-weary foil.
He has a distinctive, snickering laugh. Ernie has also frequently made appearances without Bert. He has regularly appeared in skits with Cookie Monster, Sherlock Hemlock, and Lefty the Salesman.

9- Abby Cadabby
Abby Cadabby is a fairy-in-training who lives on Sesame Street.
She made her debut in 2006, in the first episode of Sesame Street’s 37th season, when she moved into the neighborhood and met some of the Street’s residents.
After counting to ten with the Count, Abby’s magic wand sets off too much lightning and breaks, so Big Bird takes her to the Fix-It Shop so her wand can be repaired. Her name is a play on the magic word “abracadabra.”
Abby’s magical abilities include popping in and out of thin air, floating when she’s happy, and turning things into pumpkins.
She can speak a language called “Dragonfly” and is teaching Rosita the language while Rosita teaches her Spanish.
However, She also claims to speak “Butterfly” and “Puppy Dog.” Abby’s parents are divorced and she spends part of her time living with her mommy and part of it living with her daddy.

10- Kermit the Frog
Kermit the Frog, arguably Jim Henson’s most famous Muppet creation, was the star and host of The Muppet Show, played a significant role on Sesame Street, and served as the logo of The Jim Henson Company.
Furthermore, Kermit grew up with thousands of siblings and has talked occasionally about other members of his family. He was also voiced by Frank Welker in Muppet Babies and occasionally in other animation projects.
