Suwannee Hulaween has announced the first phase of its 2022 artist lineup and, in usual vein, it’s a striking sight to behold. From October 27–30, the five-day Halloween extravaganza is held annually inside Live Oak, Florida’s idyllic grounds Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. Over the past decade, the Suwannee grounds have allowed Hula attendees to fully immerse themselves in the enchanting Florida habitat. Spirit Lake, Hulaween’s visual and experiential nucleus, expands upon that natural beauty with help from sculptors, fire/metal workers, actors, lighting/projection designers, and more.

In addition to three nights of host band The String Cheese Incident, Hulaween 2022 will feature headlining performances by six-time Grammy nominees Black Pumas, alternative rockers Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Atlanta rapper J.I.D, alt-pop hitmakers Portugal. The Man, livetronica veterans STS9, electronic pop duo Sylvan Esso, jam favorites The Disco Biscuits, far-reaching psych-funk outfit Lettuce, and more.

Other notable performers include Twiddle, Manic Focus Live Band, Franc Moody, Lewis Del Mar, Neil Frances, Cimafunk, The Main Squeeze, Butcher Brown ft. Nigel Hall, Eggy, Maddy O’Neal, Wednesday Night Titans, along with CE favorites Ravenscoon, Zingara, Tripp St., A Hundred Drums, Player Dave, and more.

The festival will also feature a mix of electronic music artists from across the stylistic spectrum including longtime Suwannee favorite CloZee, Aluna, Louis The Child, Fisher, Gorgon City, Elohim, Maya Jane Coles, Mindchatter, Of The Trees, Opiuo, and a new collaboration between Big Gigantic and NGHTMRE dubbed Gigantic NGHTMRE. In addition, Suwannee Hulaween will host a series of “festival takeovers” by tastemaking electronic music tastemakers including Wakaan of Liquid Stranger, Desert Hearts, and LP Giobbi-led collective Femme House.
