Following what has been a heart-wrenching two-year hiatus for the Forest Family, Michigan’s Electric Forest is poised to return to its beloved home at Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, June 23 through 26, 2022. The folks behind the powerhouse music festival, Madison House and Insomniac Events, are situating it’s return as the “reunion of a lifetime” and they’ve just delivered on the highly-anticipated 2022 line-up right on schedule.

Releasing every year in early December, Electric Forest dons huge headliners, an expertly-curated list of industry tastemakers and rising talent, unofficial afterhours sets from underground newcomers, as well as plenty of surprise appearances throughout it’s four-day weekend. 2022 headliners include The String Cheese Incident who will perform their traditional three incidents, along with Disclosure and The Disco Biscuits on opening night, GRiZ and Sylvan Esso on Friday, Porter Robinson, SLANDER, and Fisher on Saturday, with Louis The Child and Big Gigantic rounding out the weekend. 

Additional notable headliners include Charlesthefirst, Lotus, Big Wild, CloZee, Duke Dumont, Liquid Stranger, LSDREAM, Lettuce, Shiba San, Toro Y Moi, TOKiMONSTA, Whethan, Subtronics, and more. A deeper look into the undercard reveals a long list of deserving musical acts, both veteran and new coming talent alike.

In the bass music realm, Mersiv, A Hundred Drums, Deathpact, DD&D empress Khiva, 17-year-old powerhouse Moore Kismet, CE favorites NotLö and Of The Trees, potions, Odyzey Music’s Rome In Silver, Wuki, Supertask, Tsuruda, and Michigan native Wreckno, who could barely contain his excitement over Twitter.

Further soundtracking the long-awaited reunion will be the legendary Tinklicker, Porter Robinson find Anamanaguchi, jamtronica favorites Sunsquabi and Flamingosis, Mija‘s SO TUFF SO CUTE alias, along with a debut performance from Lab Group.

The weekend also officially celebrates A Decade of Electric Forest, which was initially slated to take place in 2020 and sold out in record time. The ten-year anniversary event was cut due to the global health pandemic, but will pick up right where things left off as tens of thousands of attendees gather once again at the heart of Sherwood Forest next summer.

All remaining Wristbands for Electric Forest 2022 will go On Sale this Friday, December 10 at 10 AM Eastern. Forest Family looking to purchase verified 2022 wristbands who are unable to get them during the December 10 on sale are encouraged to use the Official Wristband Exchange.
