EDM producer, Calvin Harris, said, “My wife is a Superhero,” announcing the birth of his first child. Check out the full post below.

Harris shared the photo via Instagram with the caption, “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah ” Posting a photo of himself holding the newborn, a boy named Micah, in an Instagram post Monday (Aug. 4).

The photo carousel features intimate moments from Hope’s water birth, including a shot of her in a birthing tub and what appears to be her placenta. Harris is later seen placing pieces of the placenta into a food dehydrator, with the final image showing a jar of capsules—presumably made from the dehydrated placenta. While unconventional, placenta consumption is fairly common among some new mothers, who believe it may support postpartum recovery and overall wellness.
