With a clear road ahead filled with bangers and remarkable productions, Tensteps is surely on its way to conquer dancefloors all over the world. His work, already backed by top names like Armin Van Buuren, MaRLo and Ferry Corsten, as well as his impressive collaborations with Standerwick and Andrew Rayel mark only the beginning of his successful and outstanding career.  

While he keeps busy working on fresh tracks to release in the months ahead, we asked him some quickfire questions to know more about his favorites, things he learned recently and squeeze in some advice. This is what he said. 

Analog or digital? 

Digital 

Favorite festival or venue?  

Festival, EDC.  Venue, Prysm in Chicago. 

Dream collaboration?   

Armin van Buuren 

Favorite studio equipment?   

Probably my Komplete S88 keyboard 

Saturdays or Sundays?  

Saturdays 

Last thing you learned?  

I learned that there’s a plugin called Minimeters that shows Serato/Rekordbox-style waveforms inside your DAW 

Favorite song ever?  

I can never answer this question haha, there’s never been just one song that I can choose over the other ones I really love.  It changes all the time. 

Biggest inspiration?   

Watching my friends succeed in the things they’re doing. 

Best personal quality?   

I would say my composure haha.  I don’t get angry or worked up very easily, I tend to stay pretty level-headed which has definitely been a benefit. 

Any advice to give?  

Pineapple doesn’t go on pizza.
