Milkwish is a Polish DJ and producer renowned for his impact on the progressive and trance music scenes. Born in the late 1980s, he has carved out a prominent place in the electronic world, performing at top clubs and major festivals in Poland and across the globe. His tracks have been signed to prestigious labels like Black Hole Recordings, Armada, Magik Muzik, and Paul Thomas’ UV imprint, and his singles have been remixed by numerous top-tier artists, including Grammy winner Paul Harris (Dirty Vegas), Jerome Isma-Ae, Aka Aka, Stan Kolev, and many others. A standout moment in his career was his remix of Magenta by Giuseppe Ottaviani and Ferry Corsten, which was featured on Markus Schulz’s In Search of Sunrise 20 compilation last year.

In November 2024, Milkwish released Treasure on Coldharbour Recordings, showcasing his signature groove-driven, progressive sound. He also teamed up with Danijel Kostic on Voices, released on VANDIT Alternative, further cementing his presence in the progressive and melodic house genre. Milkwish’s recordings frequently top bestseller lists on Beatport and Traxsource and are supported by brands like Mayday, Pacha, and Azuli. His latest single with platinum-awarded house icon Tom Novy, Jupiter, gained global DJ support and aired on BBC Radio One.

On the other hand, trance act Solange—now made up of Martin Scully, Frode Nilsen Kambo, and Scott Nichols—first made their mark in 1999 with Messages, releasing 1,000 white labels. The 4AM mix caught Scott Bond’s attention and landed on Gatecrasher Red, leading to a 10-year deal with R&S/Global. Remixed by Mr. Pink, Gouryella, and Paul Van Dyk for Politics of Dancing 2, Messages featured on top dance compilations, securing Solange’s place in trance history.

Messages was re-released in 2011 on High Contrast Recordings, hitting No. 1 as Judge Jules’ Tried & Tested track on BBC Radio 1. Solange then teamed up with Binary Finary for Subliminal Delusions, earning support from Armin van Buuren. After a hiatus, they returned in 2022, remixing Messages with Binary Finary and Metta & Glyde for a December re-release. This reignited the trio’s passion, leading to multiple releases across various labels with strong support. And one of those 2025 projects they just launched features Milkwish himself.

It all started with an untitled melody from the trance act Solange—an idea waiting for the right spark. Having previously released music on Bemind, Elpida, and Serendipity—and as longtime fans of Milkwish—they sent it his way, hoping he’d recognize its potential. He did more than that. In just a few weeks, he transformed it into a polished, danceable groove that felt effortlessly alive. One evening, Scott from Solange took the track for a spin, cruising at sunset as golden light spilled across the road. As the music pulsed through the speakers, framed by the glow of the fading day, it felt like the perfect soundtrack for that moment. When Milkwish later suggested the title “Sunset Avenue”, there was no question—it just fit.
