Words often fail, even for the writers, when trying to capture what Anyma and his team have achieved in Vegas. The Sphere—if you’re unfamiliar—isn’t just a venue; it’s a living, breathing force of light and sound. A 35-story colossus stretching 516 feet wide, glowing even against the neon chaos of the Las Vegas Strip. Inside, a 160,000-square-foot LED screen and 164,000 precision-tuned speakers don’t just create a show—they dissolve reality and redefine what entertainment can be.
“Pushing boundaries in ways the world has yet to see… moments like this leave undeniable marks on our lives,” Layla Benitez once said, standing outside the Sphere during its construction. At the time, playing here was a dream—one that Anyma made real earlier this month. Her words still hold weight. This isn’t just another show; it’s history unfolding in real-time.
Australian DJ and producer Cassian kicked off the night. A night to be truly cherished for the rest of our lives. It’s something I imagine that our parents witnessed with the first color television. A connection that only happens once in a humans existence. Once you experience it, you are forever changed by it. Cassian put on a masterclass as he wove through some of his best hits and unreleased IDs. “Memento” was the first audio to touch our ears, followed by what is believed to be an unreleased Argy collaboration with Adriatique.
Behind the scenes, Cassian played a crucial role as the Musical Director for the entire Anyma Sphere experience, leading production, mixing, and mastering. His meticulous work helped shape the show’s groundbreaking sound design, ensuring every frequency hit with surgical precision. Reflecting on the journey, he shared:
“I joined Anyma as Music Director for Sphere – ‘End of Genesys’, the culmination of 2 years of nonstop collaboration. Sphere Vegas presents a unique and powerful platform to push boundaries within and beyond our genre, and to create a world-class audio experience for over 200,000 people.”

John Summit’s electrifying Sphere set was another defining moment, featuring one of the most surreal visuals of the entire residency—a checkered galaxy twisting into a raging tornado. It was an optical illusion making the venue appear to be warping. At one point, he looked up, hands on his head, fully taking in the magnitude of the moment. You could see the gratitude wash over him in real-time—a rare sight in the modern era. It was a moment of pure awe, a realization that Summit and his team at Metatone had built something legendary.
Italian musician, artist, and pioneer Anyma returned to the Sphere for a four-night finale to close out 2024—The End of Genesys. From Thursday, February 27, through Sunday, March 2, he gave the world one last immersive dive into his sonic universe. We were lucky enough to be invited by his team and UMG for the final night, choosing this show because of the incredible lineup, featuring global sensation John Summit and Australian mastermind Cassian. Even with sky-high expectations, the experience shattered them. And now, weeks later, I’m still trying to process what happened that night.
There were countless unforgettable moments, but three stood out the most. First, the biggest revelation—Anyma announcing his third studio album, “The End of Genesys”, set for release on May 23, 2025. Then, the thrill of hearing his unreleased collaborations with RÜFÜS DU SOL and Empire of the Sun, both of which I suspect will be on the album, alongside the hypnotic track with Ellie Goulding. And finally, the raw energy of John Summit taking the stage, dropping his official remix of “Hypnotic”, with Anyma stepping out to join him. A moment of pure, unfiltered euphoria for the 18,000 people to witness live.

Here’s to the visionaries. The builders. The dreamers. The ones who refuse to accept limits. You didn’t just create a show—you rewrote the rules of what’s possible. This isn’t just entertainment. It’s a window into the future. And the future looks incredible.
And to Anyma and UMG—thank you for the invitation, for the experience, for making history. We can’t wait to see what comes next.
