REZZ announces formation of her ‘HypnoVizion’ imprint + incoming ‘Nightmare on Rezz Street’ mix

Everyone knows Halloween is Rezz’s favorite time of the year.

Just ahead of her sold-out Rezz Rocks shows at the end of the month, Rezz has some exciting happenings on the horizon for her cultish fanbase. The iconic artist now announces the launch of her brand new record label, HypnoVizion, which will be housed under Universal Music Canada/Virgin Music and Artist Services. The imprint is a step in the DIY direction for the legendary Canadian Producer/DJ as well as the product of Rezz’s unique, genre-bending sound.

HypnoVizion promises to ensnare listeners with the music of the void. Attendees at Red Rocks (October 27 – 28) and other upcoming tour dates will hear Rezz play HypnoVizion label tracks, which she refers to as “stuff that makes you question existence.”

“After years of consideration, finally I’m launching my own label called HypnoVizion,” says Rezz in a press statement. She continues,

“As my touring schedule has become more specific, I have more time to focus on other projects I am passionate about. A music label being one of them! I can’t wait to hear all the cool new songs by artists & play them in my sets & even collaborate with them.”

The announcement was quickly followed by new information regarding the newly-minted label’s first official release. It comes in the form of Rezz’s Halloween-dedicated mix series, Nightmare on Rezz Street.

The mix is set to make its return on October 25, featuring a total of twelve all-original IDs from the Neptune Goddess herself. Rezz teased what to expect from the release: “This year’s nightmare on Rezz street is DEF for the fans that have been following me since I was a fetus. It is ONLY weird random strange instrumentals, no collaborations.”
