English and Albanian singer, Dua Lipa will appear as a star in Greta Gerwig’s new Barbie movie as a blue-haired mermaid. Check out the poster below.

American actress, Greta Gerwig’s big-screen story is based on the Mattel toys stars Margot Robbie and Gosling, with Issa Rae, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, and Kate McKinnon elsewhere in the cast.

The “One Kiss” singer shared the first look of her character via Instagram with the caption, “This Barbie is a mermaid!! #BarbieTheMovie 





”. Dua’s solo shot shows her posing against a sparkly purple backdrop, wearing a bright blue wig and a matching seashell bra.

Individual characters’ new movie poster features a similarly straightforward tagline, likely mimicking the world-famous doll franchise’s branding. “This Barbie is a doctor” reads actress Hari Nef’s poster, while Emma Mackey boasts, “This Barbie has a Nobel Prize in physics.”
