The nominations for the 2022 GRAMMY Awards are here ! The annual ceremony held in Los Angeles, Crypto.com Arena, rewards artists in more than 80 different categories, and electronic music is becoming ever more important. Best Dance Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album, and also Record Of The Year, find out who has been nominated (full lists: grammy.com).

This year’s 2022 Grammy Awards are going to be a little different from the past ones. The Academy has decided to increase the amount of nominees in the Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist Award from 8 to 10 Nominees.

Jon Batiste distinguish himself with 11 nominations, followed by Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R.  with 8, as Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo pick up 7.

In the Dance and Electronic categories we are happy to see some big names being nominated for the 1st time. Competiting for best Dance and Electronic Album, Black Coffee, Illenium, Marshmello, Major Lazer and Ten City all have see their names in the nominees for the 1st time.
